Mihai the Brave in Prague

The Morzin Palace has been the building of the Romanian Embassy in Prague since 1925. On its wall there is a commemorative plaque for Mihai Viteazu (Mihai the Brave), who united Wallachia, Moldavia and Transylvania in 1599 for some short time. He came to Prague to meet Rudolf II. and ask for money for his political plans. During his visit in Prague, he stayed here - where this palace is standing now.
