My name is György Mureșan. György is a Hungarian name of Greek origin, Mureșan is Romanian - and my national identity is European. I studied German language and literature and at the same time as a student I started guiding - on 5 September 1989 - I had my first city tour with a Swisss group. I still remember them well. :)

My schools in tourism I made in Budapest and Prague, I have a license for both cities (and countries) and I am specialized for Jewish heritage (licensed).

I lived, studied and worked so far in Hungary, Germany, Ireland - but 15 years ago I found my home in the Czech Republic, in Prague - in a country where the spirit of the mysterious Slavic East and Western values meet - and makes it very human and open-minded. And this what I call home now.

I offer tours in Prague and the Czech Republic - general and thematic tours: Jewish heritage, Art Nouveau, modern art, beer culture and gastronomy - and also excursions to different regions of Czechia.

I also love traveling, my favorite destinations are Eastern and Central Europe, the Balkans, Turkey and the Middle East, Central Asia, the Caucaus - but I love to go everywhere with open heart and mind. I have been working as a tour leader for over 25 years - in Europe and Asia - it is always my pleasure to show new classical and less classical destinations to my clients with some different points of view.
